Genie’s journey in dentistry began in 2005 as an Orthodontic Nurse, where she discovered her passion for aesthetic dentistry and patient care. Over the years, she broadened her expertise by qualifying as a General Dental Nurse and gaining experience in both NHS and private practices. In 2012, Genie furthered her career by training at The University of Sheffield, where she qualified as a Dental Hygienist & Dental Therapist.

With a special interest in patient comfort, Genie excels in making both children and adults feel at ease while delivering exceptional care. She is committed to ensuring each patient has the best experience, focused on their satisfaction and wellbeing.

Outside of the practice, Genie is a devoted mother to two young children and enjoys spending time with her partner and family. She loves traveling, tackling DIY projects at home, and snowboarding. In addition to her dental career, Genie runs her own business.

Genie is thrilled to have joined the Smile By Gurms team, having previously worked alongside several colleagues in a past practice. She thrives in the team’s positive, upbeat environment and is dedicated to upholding high standards in both dental care and patient experience.
